Rzymskie ognie to ciekawe rozwiązanie konstrukcyjne – poszczególne moduły pirotechniczne są umieszczone w rurze kolejno jeden nad drugim. Jej długość i kaliber wyznaczają wysokość, na jakiej odbędzie się pokaz, oraz wielkość efektów. Wygląd widowiska zależy również od zastosowanych substancji chemicznych. Rzymskie ognie raz przybierają postać wielokolorowych palm, kiedy indziej – gwiazdek czy chryzantem z dodatkowymi efektami dźwiękowymi.
Römische Kerzen sind eine interessante Konstruktionslösung - einzelne pyrotechnische Module werden nacheinander in das Rohr eingesetzt. Ihre Länge und ihr Kaliber bestimmen die Höhe, in der die Show stattfinden wird, und die Größe der Effekte. Das Erscheinungsbild der Show hängt auch von den verwendeten Chemikalien ab. Römische Lichter einmal in Form von bunten Palmen, ein andermal in Form von Sternen oder Chrysanthemen mit zusätzlichen Soundeffekten.
